Can You Imagine . . .

  • Scheduling your 4-year-old for brain surgery?

  • Taking her for chemotherapy and radiation daily?

  • Having your heart broken when she watches other kids play?

. . . We couldn’t either!

March 20, 2007 marks the day the Malecki/Eastman world changed forever.  Kelly was admitted to Children’s Memorial and diagnosed with medulloblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. The tests confirmed that the tumor had spread to her spinal cord and another part of her brain.  Surgery was scheduled for the following day with complicated results; parts of the tumor were inoperable.   Now the difficult routine of daily treatment begins.  We are asking for your help and generous support.
